Since 1976, Heinz Stoppe has been accompanying companies exporting from Germany within the framework of the state financial credit cover. Our interest is to establish good quality business relations between domestic and foreign business partners. This includes the securing and refinancing of international projects. Our special focus is on renewable energies and innovative industrial projects.
With the EXCIF, we are putting the experience gained in the state export credit guarantee area into practice. For this reason, we deal with the monitoring of discussions with third parties, such as banks, Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs- AG, private credit insurers, audit firms, chambers of commerce, law firms, producers and customers for the benefit of our client. The Federal Government issued export credit guarantees worth 7.7 bn euros in the first half of 2017. More than three quarters of the cover provided was for the emerging economies and developing countries. Russia, Turkey and China, which are traditionally important markets for Hermes-covered exports, again attracted the greatest volume of cover. Last year, the federal government granted cover totaling EUR 1.1 bn to Turkey.
